  1. hey..just found site!!!!..great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!wanna grab 2012 futuresto check it out…it was worth just seeing all the rosters!!!way cool…

  2. If I sent you some statistics, could you produce some APBA compatible teams in a pdf format? Thank you! Charlie

    • Ok great. Please send me your e-mail address to my e-mail address and I will send you an Open Office (MS EXCEL compatible) worksheet with the stats for the year. Thank you!!!

    • Dear Sir:

I really appreciate this attempt. I am working on a book about the 1931 Homestead Grays being the greatest team of all-time. These stats were derived from a replay of the 1931 season of MLB teams, plus a dozen games with the Negro League top teams. The Grays actually played (or I should say–we have found box scores for) 174 games in 1931, hence the number of games instead of the 154 MLB schedule.

The cards that made these statistics I am sending you came from Steve’s APBA Card Computer, and the statistics came from the box scores, Seamheads.com and Baseball Reference.

I am playing currently a series against APBA’s all-time great MLB teams. The Grays are 9-1 after beating the 1927 Yankees 4-1 and the 1975 Cincinnati Reds 5-0. The 1934 Gas House Gang is next. Dizzy Dean vs Smokey Joe Williams to morrow.

I am not very literate when it comes to computers, My son helps me a lot. Please let me know if this sheet does not come through, and I will try something else.

I really appreciate you doing this. I will be happy to pay for the set. You normally charge around $15 for each minor league season set I think.

If this works out, I may try to ask you to do two other sets for me. The 1937-1945 Homestead dynasty team, and the All-Time Homestead Grays team.

This will help me out in research for this book. Thank you very much. I will be more than happy to mention you in the acknowledgments.

      Thank you!

  3. I wish you offered printed sets. Not that advanced with computers. Have no idea what kind of paper to buy to print these out or if my printer can even handle it.

    • Wish I could too but the volume isnt high enough and for me to print a set and is very cost prohibitive, nearly twice what APBA charges. I suggest#110 cover and cutting the cards with an xacto knife and ruler, that’s what I do for each set. I also wish I could find a way to do a disk but i’d rather make more sets.
